![]() Sumilon Bluewater Island Resort is nestled on peaceful Island of Sumilon. The Island still consider as one of Cebu's best kept secrets and is located on the southeastern tip of the mainland. It is 125 kilometers from Cebu City and is in close distance to Dumaguete. The island span area of 24 hectares and is surrounded by crystal clear waters with different aquamarine hues. It is the very first marine protected area in the Philippines and was made a fish sanctuary in 1974 under the guidance of Siliman University Marine Reserve. During dives, one will find varied marine species and even occasional sightings of black tip sharks. Pure white sand beaches are situated in different areas in Sumilon. ACCOMMODATION Accommodation at Sumilon Bluewater Island Resort tries to maximize comfort and relaxation. The rooms are large and have bougainvilla-lined private verandas that open to panoramic views of the sea, cove cots and mainland Cebu. It is compose of twelve rooms (arranged as six cottages, each with two adjoining rooms) with private verandas that offer views of the sea, cove, and mainland Cebu. Each room has an area of 48-square meter and accommodates a maximum of 3 guest.
